i am ready to buy the video card and wanted to get your opinions. I have a $1300 budget and am thinking one of the following...
1 GTX titan
2 GTX 690
3 two 680's in sli

i have heard that the 690 and running sli can cause some issues due to drivers not quite up to par as far as multigpu's are concerned.

what are your thoughts?

My thoughts are don't do SLI for a gaming machine. If you want the biggest and baddest just get the titan or the 780 classified but 680's are a waste right now compared to the 700 series, and the same SLI issues you get with the 690 on some games you get with multiple cards on another game.

I'd get a 780 or titan and call it a day. Why fuck around with shit you don't need.

Get a 780 - Titan is not worth the extra for minimal extra gain imo. I think someone was selling a 690 in the clan for $500 can't remember who though

GTX 780 is my suggestion too. I have a GTX 670, so this gen isn't worth the cost for me.

My GTX770 is pretty amazing. I haven't been able to make it hesitate yet. get 2 of those.
