If this is true I'll wait until then. I keep reading rumors that this is the card that was supposed to be released in April and instead we're getting the 104 or GTX 680 that is being released tomorrow. But if this is true then I'll just hold on and wait a few more months to get the GTX 780.

I will, but seriously I don't see any reason in payin $500+ for something now when they have something much faster than the 680 coming available in 4 more months?

I'm willing to bet the following happens.

680 = $500
780 = $800+

Meaning the 680 will be the budget card, and the 780 will be the highend. I just don't see nvidia following the intel's price matrix. Intel is selling the 3770k at a similar price that the 2700K was selling when it was first realese.
