GeForce offers a new way to record game play starting 10/28/2013

I would kill for direct to H.264 recording. The problem with H.264 is if its done on the CPU its rather intensive but they are doing it on the GPU using dedicated hardware for the job its rather lightweight.

As far as quality goes there is no real question here except for what maximum bitrate they offer. Youtube uses 6 Mbps for 1080P H.264 which is shit. For 1080P 30 Id prefer no less than 20 Mbps which hell my cell phone does. 25 to 30 is a bit preferable for storage of master quality footage. Remember Bluray H.264 is just north of 30 Mbps on the top end.

Damn it might have to get the GTX 770 instead... lol
 
the driver got leaked and people are already uses it claiming only a 1-2 fps hit. i think i just wait until monday and dl from nvidia

Just downloaded it today. Excellent quality, you can set it to save 1-10 minutes of gameplay, or use manual control. was roughly 1GB every 3 minutes on quality setting "high"
Will continue to play with it.
