Evening all!

Finally getting around to building my GF's PC!

What do yall think of the Rosewill Thor V2? It's fairly cheap for a full tower, but is mostly made of metal. 3 230 mm fans front, top, side, and 1 140mm rear fan.

Intended specs:
Radeon HD 7850 2gb
Phenom II x4 965 B.E. 3.4ghz quad core
GA-970A-UD3P
H7 Cryorig heatsink (I fucking love this for cooling my 8320 for a cheap air fan)
Whatever RAM 8GB
Evga 220-G2 80plus gold 750W
Whatever HDD.

Been back and forth on cases, the Thor V2 seems to be the best bet that I've found for the quality build of case, 4 fans, and being a full tower. I have the Rosewill Blackhawk atx mid tower and I love it, but wish I had a full lol.

IDK, at that price range there a lot of nice cases, and for less money too.

Are you intent on a side fan or window only?

Phantek's Enthoo Pro series $94.00
Thermaltake Chaser $115.00
NZXT PHantom $120
Fractal Design ARC XL $129

I really like the Phantek Enthoo series and the Fractal Design cases. They're very well thought out and leave lots of room for expansion and have dust filters.

I saw the Phantek. I was a bit concerned with both the cases only having 2 fans and the location her PC will be in. It's a garage with no windows, so itll be sitting in a closed off room. The fractal I see has 3 140mm's. I know she won't buy any more fans to go in a case.

It may only come with 2 fans but you can add as many as 12 to the case lol. Seriously, I have 140mm fans for $8 or $9 each and the case is superior so I wouldnt' worry about how many fans it comes with, just add them in when you get the case. If she won't do it, just do it for her.

Anyway, those are just suggestions.

This is the case I purchased a couple of months ago. Now on sale for $105.
Must have been marked down too, because I paid more for it.
Lots of room for fans and water coolers. It's a beast, huge, heavy and solid.
Case was perfect when I received it, not one mark on it, including the windowed door.
Right side door has room for lots of cables.
It is listed as a mid-tower, but it is really a full tower. Check it out.
