You have to take out the regenrative armor pieces on it that are lit in blue. The more you take out the slower it regenrates armor. Usually a well aimed Rorsch or pilum is good to take out the armor pieces

There are two on the back, three on each side and two on the front hood. You can also take out five in a shot with rdx, one on each. The fact that people are shooting you from gun positions on the vehicle or may jump out and knife or shotty you before you set it off is a buzz kill.

its regeneration is reduced by each panel you destroy if you concentrate fire when it has a only a few panels you can destroy it without blowing all of the panels.

Your best bet is to use the cloaker and approach it from the side. identify the gun positions that are not active, and sneak up to the blind spot if you don't have a cloaker.

the guns cannot hit you if you are standing reasonably close to the IFV but, keep in mind that people like to use it as a spawn point.

If you somehow can get 3 or 4 motion mines under the Goliath, you can destroy it extremely fast.

Hide a speeder where it can't be seen (you don't need to see the Goliath to hit it), TV missile each blue panel.

Convince another squad that they should deal with it. Pass the buck.

One of the best methods for taking down any vehicle requires at least two people, one being a supply and throwing the tactical EMP's. This freezes any vehicle, but it particulary buts the goliath at risk due to the fact that is so slow moving. I've had walkers get away trying to do this method.

The other either have RDX or a Pilum ready, with the supply being a spawn point you can continously provide a roadblock for the BEAST, atleast until reinforcments arrive. But, two walkers and one Supply freezing it can take a Goliath down reasonably fast.
