ok guys time to upgrade, need something affordable, but good, i need to update cuz i couldnt play BC2 without lagging unless it was low graphics
 
steppa the 580 seems pretty high end judging by the price....lol
 
They sure are high end. Get two of them and let the blissful gameplay commence.
 
If you have the money the 580 is the way to go. Nvidia's best single card and if you REALLY have the money you can throw in an overclocked edition with 3GB of memory and not have to worry about shit in BF3. That said if your trying to conserve money an overclocked GTX 570 will do fine. Beats out the best single card radeon in Ultra but its not a fair fight yet. Still a choice for those with a little bit to spend. Id go 580 if i had money to burn for sure.

Only option past that is MORE CARDS :p
 
I've got an HD5850 too and it plays pretty well at High (at 1920x1080). Perhaps an HD6950 or an upcoming HD7000-series.
 
now i got all this fancy new stuff and cant get the comp to start up....i hit the power button and the fans turn a little then stop, and i know its not that it doesnt have enough power. any suggestions

ooooo man, this card is fucking nice......popped in bfbc2 max settings online, and she ran like a dream...
