Sadly i have only tried using gaming glasses once and that was during extra life playing some GTA5. I would like to ask around before i attempt to purchase $80-$100 worth of eye wear, how many of you use glasses while playing BF4 (or any fps) and in your opinion is it worth using, does it help etc etc
 
will it improve your game? i highly doubt it, your either good or your not, and i dont think a pair of gaming glasses will help at all.. unless you have bad eyes that water constantly or get blury vision from starring at a monitor.
 
Yeah i wasn't expecting a boost in skills, but i bet that thought would cross my mind after using them ha. I don't often get issues while playing for a period of hours. Although when i do the blame does go to the monitor. I guess i was expecting it would help you see more clearly in the game. For an example the fucking sun in the game that glare it really must go away. I don't know bro i had to ask for some opinions, and i thank you for yours!
 
I admit I do game with Gunnar glasses. Reason being is with my line of work, I'm in front of monitors for 9 hours a day only to come home and game for another 5 - 6 hours. I do like how they improve the contrast a bit, allowing me to see more clearly. I also like how my eyes don't tire out as easily and are not dried out (I'm one of those few that don't blink when gaming for some reason.) I think they are worth it but that's just me.

As a side note, mine are prescription.
 
Yeah with that much time with the monitor i would prefer having the glasses. So it slightly helps with visual effect. How long have you been using gaming glasses?
 
About 8 months now. I was first introduced to them by some of the guys from the graphics department. A few use the more expensive versions (300 - 400) for graphic design.
 
Pretty sure I have a 15-20% discount somewhere.

Ghstops- alright cool yeah to be honest i did not click on the expensive ones,too afraid i might fall for it i'm a sucker when it comes to shopping. Yeah when i first tried a friends pair on i enjoyed playing with them on didn't mind it at least.

What is this seeing clearly shit? I always take my glasses off when I game. People are like I can't see what your shooting at... Neither can I lol

I can't play on hardcore servers. I aim based on pattern recog. I shot everything from team mates to that spot in the dirt that looked like a face when I was strafing. With automatic fire I tend to start to the right of my enemy semi I aim for the chest use the recoil for the headshot. I'm not any good either lol

I don't play on any hardcore servers i am still learning the ins and outs. I end up shooting around a guy missing or burn through a clip hitting nothing but air. I need to control my shots :( especially when i play recon.
 
I don't really care for Hardcore. You should know how many grenades you have, hardcore or not.
 
easy as 1-2-3 . hmm yeah I just figure with some problems ill run into like lag,hackers etc that the last thing i need is to play in that mode.
