How my school day went today

Happy that it ended well for you, the kids, and the other staff.

Sounds like a stressful start to the weekend for the grownups, the kids were probably excited about not having to finish the day.
 
Well, that beat my work day where a petite little cutey was kissing a butch man looking girl while two tables over a teenage guy was demonstrating how to deep throat a 1 liter bottle of coke...down to the label! Holy fuck, I didn't know whether to be scared or enticed ;) He must have a LOT of friends.
 
It's a different world we live in now, for sure. I'd hate to think about the response from law enforcement and policymakers as we advance and things like this become more common, but I can't imagine a world in which the response isn't heavy-handed enough to bring actions like this to an immediate halt. Really, REALLY glad that everyone is safe and that it was a false alert. When one of these fucksticks gets hit with domestic terrorism charges, if it deters things, maybe it'll make the overarching response worth it.

Also, it's cool af that you're a teacher. Hella precious commodity, good ones.

Even in my country, the people doing this go away for a long time, when they started talking about domestic terrorism, the incidents went a little lower.
This is a country where you can get 3 + 2 years probation for murder.
 
Wow, 2Tartu, that's insanity! You can only get that kind of sentence in the US if you're rich!

You have a chance at not even getting any real prison time for rape, too. The laws are extremely lenient.
If you fuck up too hard though, you will get lynched on social media which usually leads to loads of "random" stabbings.
 
Only 1 year in prison? I hope that's PER bomb threat issued. So in this instance the perp/group would be looking at 15-20 years
 
Apparently it used a google phone number from San Diego. They said a bunch of schools got the same robocall that day.
