I've also got a new and larger SSD arriving shortly.
I'm going to do a clean install but the thing I worry about is the sound card. It's old for what it is but still better than 99% of what I see currently on the market but the drivers??? Asus Xonar Essence STX
I know Rain posted something about unified drivers for sound cards for Win10 a while back but I forget what he mentioned.
Other than that, I've got some sound recording software that's rated for Win 8.1 and should work and there's nothing else I can think of that would be cause for concern.
Any suggestions are always welcome.
