I hate people on days like today.

Yesterday someone dropped off a dog that has obviously been indoors his whole life in the parking lot at my work place. He was lost and whining and just clueless outside. He had no idea to stay away from the cars.

Today someone dropped off a kitten that's obviously been raised indoors. She wants attention so badly, knows how to use a litter box, is very affectionate, and again is clueless about being outdoors and staying away from danger. It pisses me off.

Anybody in the Houston area want a lovable little kitten? We found a home for the dog but so far no takers on this little cutie.

The immaturity of people is incredible, but sadly not surprising.

People are used to throwing things away. Animals are like toys to some people.

Wish I was in the area. Think my folks would kill me but my childhood cat died recently. Damn thing had to have been 15.

My dog and my two young cats were all rescues. I am glad I like animals more than I do some people.

Yeah, our last cat died just before she was 18. Now we've got one that's 2 years old. I was going to take this one home, but one of my coworkers is taking her. She's a cute little lovable thing; when you sit down she jumps in your lap and curls up. Anyway, I'm glad she found a good home.

Me too, that little thing is such a snuggler. She just wants to curl up and sleep on a lap whenever you sit down. The lady who took her was worried about her husband liking the kitten but she said when her husband got home the first thing that kitten did was jump in his lap, curl up and start purring. Smart kitty. She won him over so they're both happy with the kitty now.

I don't even like cats but that thing is fucking adorable!

Yeah, it's part of what pissed me off so much. She's cuter than hell, and all she wanted was for someone to sit with her so she could curl up in your lap just like she is on that chair. In fact, she was sitting exactly like that in my lap purring the whole time until I got up to take the picture of her. It's not like she's an ugly or unruly cat, she's cute and sweet as can be. I sometimes wonder why any animal thinks humans are worthy of their time or trust.

High five for finding that sweet little kitty a good home. I'm glad there are people like you on the planet looking out for animals.
