Incredibly Useful Site for Monitor Calibration

I think of this everytime someone uses a picture or a website to calibrate a monitor. I say this from a photography perspective as someone who owns calibration equipment and as a dickhead.

Tiles A and B are the same color but your brain lies to you anyways:

I was gonna quote Rains dickhead funny and make a joke but since quoting someone has become work I won't.

Id like someone to photoshop those two tiles right next to each other. Cuz I don't buy it

How has quoting someone become work? Click reply and it your instantly replying to a quoted post?

Anytime the buttons are different from what I used before....WORK. My brain is so busy computing things that money is lost when I have to figure things out.

I know lol. vB had Reply and Reply with Quote. We can add that but when the bar scales I either have to make one disappear for mobile or... XDA Developers which runs vB as well has their setup like this "Reply, "Multi-Quote" Quick Reply and I am kinda used to Xenforo's default Reply because of that I suppose.

IDK maybe it is my screen. The only one that looks the same is the one with the bar connecting the tiles. In that photo tile A looks lighter than in the other photo to me.

So I still don't buy it I took a piece of paper and cut the square out and held it up to my monitor. It was darker but no the same. DAMN YOU BRAIN!!!!

What about looking at the version I linked where its physically tied together with a bar of the same color?

Point of the whole matter is don't trust your eyes. Should go especially for men since we have the highest rates of color resolution deficiencies.

someone must explain this sorcery. lol

I dunno you have a checkerboard which your brain knows for a fact every tile is an alternate color, you then have a shadow which you see however it doesn't disrupt the fact that a dark tile and a light tile couldn't possibly be the same color... but it in fact is?

Ok on that link if I block the top tiles and then block the lower tiles I can get the color to change. Weird.
