RMA with the manufacturer. Hope it's still in warranty. But first, if you can, try reinstalling the OS or swapping GPUs with another system.

what would re installing do? i dont have another system to try them in, and since its sli would it be the main card that failing, both or either or.

Take it out of SLI and try each card individually then. The idea is that you can figure out where the problem is. If the artifacts follow to a different machine, it's the graphics card. If the artifacts stay on the old machine, it's something else--hardware or software.

ok so i took out one the cards and it plays css just fine, i actually get a increase in fps with just one card.. hows that possible?

edit: and now i can play bf3 just fine

edit 2: just noticed that a cord blocks off one the fans causing it not to spin, do you its just over heating? also it has about less then 1/2 inch gap above the psu also causing more heat?

Sounds like a heat issue.Especially if the fans can't spin. Might need a bigger case for SLI?

SLI isn't always better, sometimes the cards have to scale themselves back just to work together. I had this issue with my two 9800GTX+ when I did it.

yea im thinking heat is the issue both cards are working fine.

Heat is the big concern with multi-GPU configurations. nVidia is usually pretty good about designing their stock fan shrouds to improve airflow--they use shorter blower fans and form the shroud to give a couple millimeters for airflow--which is better than AMD where most shrouds are flat so the blowers are suffocated when two cards have minimal spacing.

youtube video and few other player which are working with flash are having some problems since the last update. What you have to do (and its good for all of you) is to right click on the player screen go on settings and unchecked the hardware acceleration. It work just fine for me ;B

and it happening again, its not in sli and the fans are spinning just fine, it was working just great two days ago, now it fucking bull shit. cod4 freezes and low fps, and hitman just looks retarded..

That happened to me back a year ago with a testing of a 6950. What I noticed is that the power supply wasn't giving enough watts to hold the 6950 at a stable state. Check the requirements and see if your lacking of power.

Yes, nut enough power and the GPU could scale itself back.

Thumbed with my iPhone

Are you running a battery back up? If not get yourself a good one to avoid any fluctuations in your electrical. I'd bet good money your electrical is fluctuating causing your issues with vid cards and PSU.

Remember 90% of the units out there are not compatible with Active PFC power supplies which you are probably running. You must make sure the unit uses a pure sign wave inverter and is marked as compatible. Otherwise there is no guarantee it will do you a damn bit of good as some power supplies will straight shut off when switching to battery (which happens not just in outages but in brown out and overvolt conditions). No clue if any real damage would occur outside of data loss, etc but those PSU's that work often will buzz like crazy.

just played cod4 with no problems, not sure what the deal is.. its works today but will it tomorrow? only thing i did was download new drivers..

Drivers can change anything and everything. Drivers can literally open the gateway to fry a card, cause it to have issues or cause it to work perfectly. New drivers and no problems = no surprise. Could just be a coincidence that its working fine now it the new drivers could have been the solution to your problem.

This may be a stupid question, but did you uninstall the old ones first? I know the last driver update I did I had to do that to get some bugs out I was having.
