Hey guys,

sorry to bother y'all but, I have a few questions regarding my moms laptop. When she came here, she told me that some guy in Iran installed something called "JAP/JonDo" and, I have tried everything to remove this. Nothing helped. Tried to unistall the program. a medium sized boxed appears then disappears quick. It does not remove. I have also tried CC Cleaner and that didnt help as well. So, from talking with my mom, she has decided to re format her laptop. I just dont know how to do it. I get different answers from different people and it left me confused. Anyways, speaking from that, she also has spyware on her computer that I want to remove as well with AVG but I am also afraid it will not remove it. As from speaking with my mom she says she wants to reformat. I dont know where to go or begin.

1. How do I reformat her laptop?
2. Do I have to have the disc in order to reformat? I was told "if you don't have the disc, you can't reformat" that's what left me confused.
3. Does anyone happen to know where to get a version of windows for my moms laptop?

this would be the greatest help if anyone can help me out on this. I only got a few days left with my mom before she takes off and, I would like for her and her computer to be safe.

thanks

Sorry that I never answered my bad.

I can link you straight from microsofts source to whatever version you need but. I dont think it will activate with the key on the laptop (if it hasnt rubbed off by now). Normally either you would reinstall from the recovery image on the hard drive which you pm'd me asking what button to push or have/order the recovery discs for it.

I can still link you the file and you can burn that to a dvd from any computer running windows 7 and has a burner but if its not activated within 30 days.... (You can rearm it 3 times for a total of 120 days)

According to a short google search Jap/Jondo is a proxy server software for browsing the web. The idea behind it, especially under her use would be to keep the Iranian government from being able to see what she is browsing. Would kind sorta actually be a good thing if you like proxy software.
