I'm not after much capability; I just want to go through my collection of Shadowplay videos and trim the fat. I've got plenty of vids with 5 minutes of boring followed by an awesome RPG chopper kill. Looking to free up some hard drive space. Any suggestions?

Not Windows Movie Maker, it pixellates the arse out of anything I feed it.

Virtualdub with avisynth :-P .

Adobe Premiere elements is the last thing I've used 5ish years ago.

Are you using the latest version? 12+ saving in H.264 with the right settings will save higher quality videos than you will ever get to have on youtube. Since Youtube is going to rape a 1080P video down to 6 Mbps when id prefer a good 20 Mbps for showing.

11 was horrible you can only save in the WMV container and the quality options were total garbage.

VLC I think is free and it works good. It's easy, drag and drop crap, add music.
