What brands sell mechanical keyboards with wide keys for fat fingers. Specifically, a mechanical one that you can feel the snap and click of the key when typing, like an IBM keyboard.

Anyone?

The original M keyboards, configurable with USB here. Nothing beats an M. Period.

SteelSeries always seems to have mind-altering descriptions for their products :-P

However, I think that I would buy the Razer BlackWidow. Not only due to the massive price difference but also because it looks so cool. The Tournament Edition looks pretty sweet as well!

Fat fingers? Are you sure you don't man fat cock?

JK, I've heard good things about "DAS KEYBOARD!!!11on1one!" but I've never actually touched one.

Honestly, I've grown up on the old clicky mechanical keyboards of the 80's, and didn't think they're particularly amazing... I don't know why people jizz over them so much.

Because they're 100 times better than the rubber domed shit. Honestly, I think people like the feel of the mechanicals much better than the domed keys. And if you abuse a keyboard like I do mechanical is the way to go. Evidently I type like I'm angry at the keys :)

Razer Blackwidow gave me tendinitis; the deck and das ones feel better than the Razer anyhow. Don't go cheap on mechanical -- go good.

So which one would you recommend to purchase Chuck, the Das?

I have a steel series and I love it for gaming but I can see my typing in game suffer horribly.
