Right.. Here we go!
I need a mac for music (editing and just compatibility with everyone else). No mac isn't an option basically. Apart from the obvious hardware barrier and machine specs. If I ran bootcamp with win7 on as dual boot would it be possible to play games on the mac?
Here are the specs I'm looking at anyway:
2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD Radeon HD 6770M with automatic graphics switching 1GB DDR5 - (what is that all about?? Power saving or something?)
As you can see the 6770 isn't too bad, not the best but it would run pretty much all games at medium minimum. But by the time I have the money I'll probably be looking at Sandy bridge, although I doubt apple will update immediately? Not sure, what do you all think?
Cheers
