Mic help?

Hello guys!

I have been on your Ventrilo now for some times and some of you, Mac and Sid for example has told me that they can't hear me so well, I have tryed to increase my outbound thing in Vent and line volume but they said that they can't hear me that well still... and Sid also said that my mic gives this weird brumming sound and I don't know what that is?...

Any help on how to fix so that you can hear me good?, as I can hear you Mac and Sid, really really good!, can it be my mic/headset? or can it be that the headset is only like 16-28000 Hz?, should it be 10-28000 Hz or doesn't that matter, or does that only have to do with the sound in the headset?...

Sorry, I ain't so good with computers and stuff, but appreciate all the help :)

have you tried in your control panel going to your sound settings? There should option for MIC in there.

Well if you mean this one http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a329/SouLz2003/VENTSETUP8.jpg then I don't know what you mean, as the rest of the pictures I can see, is only how you put in a new server, which I already know...

And the answer to your question FAST, is that yes I have done that, I did it when I had teamspeak with another clan, and the mic is on 100 there...

Dave if you have onboard sound you need to run the sound wizard or use the soundmax control to unmute your mic. its the recording control not the one in your standard volume control screen.
 
Teamviewer is a Remote access program that would allow me to make setting adjustments on your computer. You would be able to watch everything im doing as i would be moving your mouse around.
I have done it for several people and its a little bit of a pain for me but i would do it to help you out Dave. If you need more explanation I can elaborate.

Yeah mate, I know what teamviewer is, I have used it before with other clans and yes it is a pain and I appreciate "but i would do it to help you out Dave" :)... thank you, let me know when you got time and we will set a time/date (not a girlfriend/boyfriend date, I mean a actual date when you make up meetings for jobs etc, you get it) :)...

Aha okay, so you are then 6 hours behind me?... I was in school when I posted that actually...

And you all can call me just dave, if you want, don't need to write/say Davvve, quite annoying with all the "v"'s after a couple of times ;)
