ok so recently i played Lord of the rings online. its free to play but its a large download.
I have played it a little bit and I have had fun, which is surprising because i am not really into Mmorpg games(last one i played was diablo soo many years ago). Sooo if your into that sort of game....get it you wont be disappointed

massive ... not breathtaking graphics.... you could stay busy for years... its a mmorpg.
4 races men elf hobbit dwarf.
8 classes
Burglar, champion, captain, hunter, guardian, lore-master, warden, rune keeper
its very low requirement also..

I looked at the site, and looks like runescape with fancier graphics :). I might check it out though.

One more thing. When you said you could play for years, a game that you could probably play until you die, would be Eve Online lol. I played that for 3 years and still haven't made much of a dent, so I stopped playing lol.

I won't touch another MMORPG. WoW sucked me in, and destroyed my life. Fuck that shit.

Soulzz, F2P mmorpgs are good though cause they don't expect you to pay, and they don't update that much within one single month compared to WoW. I saw what WoW did to my friends, and have refused to touch that deathly crack.

I downloaded that game when I heard it was f2p. Played it for like 5 minutes, then unistalled it and deleted all the files Lol... I've played better mmo's, hell I would rather go back to playing DoMo than play that game. :P

Could you imagine if TBG decided to make a WoW guild, and how stock piled vent would be with nerds drooling, and wives screaming at their husbands wanting a divorce? That would be soooo horrible.

lol i seem to be one of the few people that can simply walk away from WoW.... ill play for a few months. then stop. then play again. i get bored with the game. now lord of the rings online was fun once upon a time. i played it shortly after release to test it out a bit. they didnt have as many classes i think there were only 4. i wanted to heal so i had to play a bard. i play my lute and depending on the song depends on how much damage or how much i heal someone. thought it was stupid. the thing i do really like is that you can buy a house in a little village and decorate it the way you want. i lost my char that i had back then but i had a pretty nice house. could invite friends over and all that good stuff. now if they did that in WoW that would really make people stay in their rooms. go away mom i have friends over......

i'm glad i never touched anything but FPS. Real men play FPS but that is just my opinion. I like guns, blood and violence. Not sticks and wands and potent dust cursing my enemies :D

lol

I actually like both which is why I enjoy the Fallout series so much, it's the best of both genres. I do like regular RPG's but the MMO part turns me off. I would just feel a little too geeky for my liking.
