My Black Friday

...was partially spent doing this:

I can't tell you how helpful it is to have a lift in your garage. :-)

Nice car, Jas! The lift is cool too:)

Silly boy... Ignoring the lens flare, can you tell where this pic was taken? :-)

They always cease tours in the fall of the year prior to the introduction of a brand new generation. They do that so they can re-tool the plant without prying eyes. Once the next generation car is seen by the public, the tours will re-start.

It is. I've been a lifetime member since the mid-90s. :-)

Looks like its outside doors of the museum. Went through there 3 or 4 times and through the plant once (when I was in grade school). That's a very nice car. I always dreamed of owning a black/black 2002 Z06. That ZR1 though is just the cat's ass up and down. I still eye every 'Vette I see like I'm seeing one for the first time.

Nope, it's the employee entrance to the plant. Cars aren't allowed there (gated off) but they make an exception for museum deliveries. If you look through that album, you'll see other pics of it inside the museum where it was delivered. Like this one: IMG_2827

Of course I looked. Boob pictures are first (of course), but car pictures are a close second. :)

Here's one from May of 2011. FFWD to about 3:30 or so, where I slow a bit and let an aggressively driven, modified Nissan GT-R pass me. He caught me in traffic and I never really found enough of a break to run from him. Howwwwwever... I go to work gnawing on his ass, just to remind him I'm still back there. Eventually his brakes give out and he has to let me pass him.

Unfortunately, this was prior to me installing my rear-view camera; you don't get to see just how badly I toasted him after passing him. Within half a lap, he was nowhere to be seen.

Sucka!
