Ok this is what I am running

Q9550 2.8 oc'd to 3.4GHZ, CPU Liquid Cooled
EVGA 750i MOBO
8Gb Corsair XMS2 Xtreme Perf
1TB Hitachi 16MB Sata
22X DVD-RW
ULTRA4 1200W PSU
Cooler Master HAF 922
SLI BFG Tech GTX 260 OC 2 Maxcores 216 Air Cooled
Oc'd 630MHZ/1350MHz/2126MHZ
Asus VW246 24'' 1920 X 1080p

Win 7 64 HP

Running the game on advanced with everything high, Habo on, 16AAQ and 16 AAQ Anisotropic Filtering and 1920X1080 res

Getting about a sold 50 FPS, dropping to 35 under the worst situation

Should be getting more considering I ran Crysis a 50 FPS. And this is a lighter load that that game.

Running the beta drivers 196.34 cause they give more about 25 more FPS and the latest 196.21

Is there anything else I should try to get 10-15 FPS more? Like everything else in life I just want more.

Tempted to push my OC to 4.0GHZ and see if I get what I want. However a longer investment into research.

Turn that HBAO shit off for starters. Then change the AAQ and AA to x8 instead of 6 and I wouldn't be surprised if you got at least 30 more FPS.

intel i7+intel ssd=ftw

i have a gtx260 that i am really happy with. I kinda wish i could check the ATI cards after hearing all the good things from you guys.

i cant imagine the game looking any better. i can play on my 50" plasma and it still looks amazing. its sooo much better than what 2142 was limited too.

The game lookds perfect, I just want 75FPS.

Six, AA has nothing to do with GPU, AA is CPU powered. When I have it at 8 my cpu is under 50% load, when its at 16 on both I am at 70% load. I get better FPS when I have 16AA 16AFT than with 8.

where can you change those settings? settings file?

this is my settings file:
[WindowSettings]
Width=1920
Height=1080
Fullscreen=true
RefreshRate=60
VSync=false
[Sound]
Quality=high
VoipEnable=true
SpeakerCount=0
[Graphics]
Effects=medium
Soldiers=medium
Vehicles=medium
Overgrowth=medium
Undergrowth=medium
StaticObjects=medium
Terrain=medium
Shadows=medium
Bloom=false
HSAO=false
MSAA=1
Water=medium
MainQuality=high
Texture=high
DxVersion=auto
Aniso=2
Detail=medium
RenderAheadLimit=2
Fov=85

No need to go that far, just sign on to the game for most of them and use the drop down under your resolution. I think there's one called "custom". Of course, the FOV is in the settings file under "my documents/bc2" on your pc.

I turned of HABO and got 10 more FPS so Im a a sold 60, I guess Im just gonna have to OC my CPU up to 3.8-4.0

If you need help with the OC let me know. I got mine running at 4.0 stable finally (can do more, but temps and voltages are getting unreasonable), and I can help with what voltages to increase and how much if it's crashing depending on what test in prime.

Actually I do need some help with VLTs and timings, getting past 3.4 has proven troublesome getting it to run stabile

Do you have a D0 stepping? Check with cpu-z. It's under "revision."

Should be either C0 or D0. D0 is better (later) and should OC with less voltage.
