my future server rack idea

Hi my name is Jeff. Kind of new around here but not to the bf4 servers. Im was wondering if anyone has built a server rack? Ive been thinking of building in a 25U cabinet. Any thoughts from ppl that have built server racks where is a good place to start?

Add some corner brackets and instant cabinet:


I am of course kidding unless it happens to suit your needs. Rear bracketing is of concern but they happen to be the correct width. Quick release likely not an option.

Oh! Lol trustie ikea doing it again. This is the right one? They have 2 sizes, which size do i pick?

Geeze they did change the size. It was the original 21 5/8 width for 19 inch width eq. At 22 inches I don't think you would have much if any surface area to screw into. Besides if you plan on actually filling a cabinet mind as well get a real one. The lackrack filled the urban and relaxed requirement that most people in house were looking for with only a little bit of fiddling.

Let me put it to you this way, I have done ghetto. I once ziptied a computer together. Its currently being kicked by my foot.

Black is only 22in but there's a black/brown that is 21 5/8 width. I might buy one just to try and if not it will be a nice side table
