I didn't even leave the store without having an Invisible Shield on my GS2 and I picked up a rubber case at a kiosk a day later. Honestly never knew how colored the shield had gotten. But overall I am happy with how good the device looks 2 years later. I intend to keep the Nexus 5 for up to 3 years.

Invisible Shield after 2 years, color balance on the photo is a bit off:

The closest I will ever have to an unboxing since I used it for a few days first:

I am not terribly happy with the design of this case but I wasn't leaving the store and going to work without one on the phone. It doesn't protect the bottom front:

The N5 is truly a great looking phone. I hope my next phone will be a Nexus device.

Thats what I said and then LG made the next Nexus... I was disappointed to say the least. Glad they dropped the back glass, added the LTE.

So far mine has been almost perfect. I appear to have a couple pieces of dust on the inside of the digitizer. Which to be honest with all the other issues I have seen I am happy for it to be only that. The Dec/Jan batches seem to be no better in that regard so I wouldn't even chance swapping it and getting something worse.
