That's one of those cases where you can never switch GPU brands lol. Almost got one of Cooler masters Nvidia editions myself. Case I was also looking at just happened to go 50% off.

I know but he also went the BF4 route. Mantle which should hopefully make AMD the advantage won't be enabled until decemeber.

For most games anything above 1080P new AMD performs better anything under Nvidia is better and its relevant since nothing wrong with my 23 inch 1680x1050. I just no longer happen to use it.

The R9 has 2 series the regular 290 and the 290x. The rumour is R9 290X will now arrive on October 24th with the R9 290 arriving on October 31st. There is also the R9 280x and R9 270x.
I've held off on buying a 280x until the regular 290 materializes just to see the difference.
