Have a $20 off coupon of a purchase of $100 or more at TigerDirect good for the next 2 days, And I am trying to buy a new Z97 mobo for my new 4770K( Special thanks too @CoTTon for the deal ).

Max budget is $150, but this coupon means I can go up to $170 now, since is will ultimately be $150.

Are the boards I am currently looking at.
Thanks!

I'll take a look when I get home tonight and see what we got here.

As much as I would love to get a Sabertooth board Mak, I can't afford it.

The saber tooth mark two should be in your price range right?

If it was me I would grab the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SOC Z9. I have used Gigabyte for my past 3 builds and never had a mobo problem with them. I also like the fact that they have the Dual BIOS so incase something messes up your BIOS there is a backup.

If I was looking at these sub $200 (which isn't out of the question actually) I would narrow it down to 2 of these boards. The Asus and the MSI. Rational follows for both.

Asus:
Because its Asus. Probably near the top of my favorite electronic brand list. Great Board, lots of USB 3.0, etc. It also has a sata express port. It has one 4pin cpu fan header, and 3 4pin additional fan headers.

MSI: Excellent looking board, and better specs in my opinion than the Asus. It doesn't waste your space with worthless legacy PCI slots like the Asus and other boards do.
It has only 4 PCIe x1 and 2 PCI express 3.0 16x and a random 2.0 16x for some unknown reason.... Unless you have a deep deep desire to triple SLI (super wastful in this current age of incredible GPU's) there is no point in going with the other boards. The MSI also has 6 Sata 3 (6GB) ports vs the 4 that the Asus has. It has one 4pin CPU fan header and four additional 4pin fan headers (one more than the Asus).

Fun Fact: PCIe x1 (the short tiny ones) and PCI Express x.0 slots are the same thing. Only difference is the size and speed. You can put a PCIe x1 card in a 16x slot.

Wish I could just put up a poll or something. Make things a bit easier since it seems like everyone has mixed feelings about getting the ASUS or MSI board.

Asus just has a few more/better features than the MSI. They both perform great, but 4 DDR slots versus 2-I'll stick with
Asus on that one.
