New mb time

Well the problem is this gigabyte is shit and I have to replace. It shut downs randomly when I try to game but more frequently when im on forums

Loving my Z97 Asus sabertooth. A bit pricey, but I Think it's worth it.

I suggest not buying an Open Box anything!
If you are getting new system memory I suggest checking into G.Skill Sniper sets ... at least 12 gb.

I got an open box for my MB and there's not a damn thing wrong with it. You've got 30 days to send it back to Newegg so just run it through it's paces by then and you'll be fine. People send shit back all the time for no reason I can determine other than they don't know what they're doing when building a PC. Anyway, it's a calculated risk but well worth taking imo.

What Features do you want? If you're not going to OC then purchasing the Hero is just a plain waste of $$. If you're just looking for a standard quality MoBo you can save more money. If you're looking for something specific let me know and I'll find you something.

My gfx came open box. Most are sent back when they decide to eat that extra 150 or the card was too big.

You know what? I just realized my open box Hero VII did have something "wrong" with it. None of the LED lighting...not the reset buttons or diagnostic codes, but the red leds I've seen near the bottom pictured in reviews on the MB work, apparently, but since I have plenty in my case and the open box from newegg was $145 I don't care :)

Im not a overclocker just in case anyone is wondering.
with the Asus Maximus boards these days, the BIOS software is waaaaaaaaaay fucking user friendly. Not to mention the IN-DEPTH manual that comes with it(great shitter material). If you wanted to dabble with OCing, there are plenty of high speed hobbiests in this community to advise you, and give you do's/don't's.
