Nokia Siemens claims world record for copper DSL speeds

I read that at Engadget earlier. Now if they could just somehow make the connection to my home. I wouldn't mind, Hell I'd even pay them..

On a side not most of the main lines around these parts of Ohio are transitioning to fiber and I'm afraid this will be bad news. Meaning they're all ready slow in getting all the main feeds to fiber this will make it even worse. Especially my area where the update to fiber MIGHT happen two years from now.
 
I wish thay went into this phantom circuits a little more. Looks like AT&T will be hiring soon:) Hope thay need a line man with a bad back :( My broad band suck ass now. I get 1.38 mbps for down load and .31 mbps for up load. Fucking comcast......It's not Comcastic.
 
i dropped comcast and pay att $25 a month. i get 1.5 down and .5 up. but the lowest comcast is $45. f that. att is fast enough for my wife and i to web surf, and for me to play games at night. updating games on steam, or buying them (first download) kinda sucks, but its worth the cheaper price.

Im amazed cell phone internet is $30 a month, for the speed. there needs to be some competition in that arena. someone needs to come out with a $10 unlimited package and a free droid phone. who ever does this will endgame.
 
Didn't that news come out like 3-4 weeks ago? I recall reading it on the [H].

on a side note my download sucks to day.
