I've got a pair of 980ti FTWs and ever since I have swapped to them from ati I keep getting some crazy stuttering on fps. Doesn't matter if I have 1 or 2 in... which slot on the mobo, or which card. My fps hangs solid at 144 most of the time and then for no reason will drop to 40 for like 2-5 seconds. Then it will go back to 144. I've got the 2nd newest driver version installed.

When in BF4 my cpu usage is roughly 25 to 32%. Temp on the cards warm up to 58 celcius.

Curious to see if anyone has a stable driver version.

Damnit, I had it written down but I'll look first thing when I get home tonight; sorry I forgot to do that last night. BTW the driver I'm using is for Win 8.1 64bit.

Also, I assume you completely uninstalled the ATI drivers and used a driver cleaner/sweeper? I had this happen when moving from AMD to Nvidia...turns out it was part of the AMD driver still on my system.
After I used a driver cleaner the problem was gone completely.

I did a complete reinstall of my os drive... so fresh win 10 and fresh drivers

Joe, I get this as well. I have read it is related to Windows 10. Same cards from 7 to 10 and 10 stuttered down to a crawl for 2-10 seconds at a time then would clear up back to normal. Never found what it was. I just threw more power at it so my drops are still playable lol.

Well I do not have windows 8.1 lying around anywhere to revert to even if I wanted to. and I am not going to waste the time to go back to 7 just to have it auto upgrade back. I hope they fix this.

Are you able to stop the auto updates for driver win your copy of Win10?
