A few have asked what driver version I use for the 680. As far as I'm concerned the only one to use that does not crash bf3 is the 301.10-the rest are for shit. NVIDIA DRIVERS 301.10WHQL

I'm running what the disc installed which is 300.83. Since installing last weekend I've had ~5 game disconnects but it's telling me that I disconnected from EA like my ISP went down. However, I've never gotten this before and I'm not losing TS or any other running applications. Game play wise I see no issues with .83.
So I guess I bragged about my system a little to early. I had to revert back to my old 5850's. I can't get any drivers to work with my 2x 670's, even the ones that came with the cards. It just causes Windows to BSOD on startup. Any one have any idea what to do, besides wait until new drivers come out? I feel like I've tried just about everything. I can get windows to boot up under Safe Mode which is how I was able to uninstall and re-install different drivers. Used the Driver-Sweeper program. Even did a fresh install of windows. Which I forgot to save all my browser bookmarks :tantrum:
GeForce GTX 670 2 and 3-way SLI reviewAbove, a chart of relative power consumption. Again the Wattage shown is the card with the GPU(s) stressed 100%, showing only the peak GPU power draw, not the power consumption of the entire PC and not the average gaming power consumption.
Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:
GeForce GTX 670 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500~550 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 670 2x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
GeForce GTX 670 3x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 850 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
Also, don't forget your power supply-you have a 750w on a an OC'd cpu?

Yeah as soon as I tried to update my Realtek drivers on this laptop they fail to install on start up. I guess its just a realtek thing :/. I guess one 680 will be fineits rpetty much and & play with 1 gpu haha
Would you recommend multi-monitor or just one big one? (from your experience) and if you forget all the tech problems haha
Have you checked Windows is using the right output for the speakers?
I still can't figure whats going on with my sound, its driving me nuts. The realtek manager detects that my speakers are plugged in and sound is playing, but there's nothing coming out.
All depends on preference, I like my multi-monitor setup because I can either play with just my middle screen and use the other 2 for browsing and apps/multitasking or all 3 screens for just the game.
I like all 3 screens for when I'm flying cuz I can see a lot more airspace when I'm dog fighting. But you won't be able to support 3x 1080p monitors on ultra in BF3 with 1 card.. so it pretty much comes down to how much you want to spend. $$$$
Hmmm yeah interesting. I think I will start off with one card and one screenThen add if I want and when the card is better supported I guess. Thanks for the help though
