Today NVIDIA announced that the new GeForce GTX 780Ti will release to the public on November 7th at an MSRP of just $699. This new GPU's aggressive pricing has caused the company's other mid to high-end GPUs to drop in pricing with the GTX 780 slipping to $499 and the GTX 770 set to lower to just $329 on October 29th. NVIDIA says that it has added the GTX 780Ti to its top-tier holiday bundle as well which includes a free copy of Batman: Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, plus $100 off a SHIELD purchase.

Looks like a good time to buy either the 780 or the r290x. I'm kind of amazed Nvidia went ahead with a higher price than the 780 for a refresh product, especially when AMD just launched a kick ass card. Then again, it's Nvidia and I shouldn't be surprised. I hope nobody buys the TIs to let them know those prices are out of control.

Dang....might have to get a second 770. Not that I need it or would notice a real performance difference.

Hell, given how truly horrible most of the Nvidia drivers are for gaming on BF series lately I'd be willing to try AMD again to see if their drivers are doing better. Seriously, with the 780 I found 2 drivers that worked for BF3 without crashing the game due to driver failure or stuttering in game so bad you couldn't move. It's like AMD drivers from 6 years ago which were truly horrible.

700 bucks? WTF? Are they even trying to compete?
The AMD drivers are pretty damn good for battlefield. I did some research and I guess AMD has solved the micro stutter in crossfire. But only for single monitor applications.
I'm pretty tempted to get a second R9 280x at this point....

780 for $500 MSRP? Hellz yeah. My eye is on the 780 Ti though, which should be even better than the Titan ^_^ .

Yeah, but it doesn't have all t3h shad3rZ unl0ck3d. Supposedly the 780 Ti will... who knows, maybe nvidia will also unlock voltage? Although I highly doubt that.

I just noticed the GTX 780 has had it's price cut and is now selling at Newegg for $499-$549. Thank you AMD! The watery cooled Classified is $582, which is a steal at that price.

Steal my ass, you can water cool a R9 290 when the blocks come out (not sure if the 290x fits, probably not) for $500 total... ~$82 cheaper (+- waterblock I assume for about $100), and much better performance. Only thing would be the worse power draw.
