Origin now saving your game data to "the cloud"? WTF?

This came up when I tried to play today, not sure what's going on. I love these game managing data miners.

Origin has supported cloud saves since last year. BF3 was always native to cloud storage. Its been out of sync for me though. Last data was from November

Today is the first time I was forced to save my data to the cloud, I know what the cloud is. My game is coincidentally unplayable now, the lag is the worst I've ever seen. Not sure that the two are related but my latency to the server is 49, I restarted my comp and rejoined and the game is proper fucked now.

I hope this thread is not about how to fix it; I say this because if I'm having a issue 100,000 google searches with 250,000 replies...."I'm having the same problem." Who cares if your having a problem; tell me how to fix my problem. End of rant.

Top of Orgin click "Orgin Tab"
Click "Account Tab"
Clock "Account"
scroll down and uncheck Cloud Storage
