PC Ram

Check your motherboard to see what it can take, make sure it all works either way.

Will I notice a difference though? I just don't want to dump another $100 if it's not doing anything besides looking pretty. It should be fine with my MoBo.

Pulled from Toms, "In real world the difference would be between a 1600 and 2400 RAM of about 2-3 fps if you're real lucky too that is."

If that's pretty true, then I wouldn't worry about the RAM if it matches the new board you have. Just my thought though.

Not sure what board you're running (I think it's an Asus), but Asus is hella picky about ram, they have a QVL (qualified vendors list) for their mobos that I highly suggest you take a look at. I, and a couple of others on here, had to learn this the hard way :) http://support.asus.com/download/Options.aspx?SLanguage=en&type=1 Will get you started if you don't have it bookmarked already. Just look for your mobo and the qvl under downloads.

@sixer9682 Yea, that works also. I just wanted something that matched my board and didn't have heat sinks so big if might violate a law in Florida.
