So my power supply went to the grave last night. This is what I can afford, what's you guys thoughts?

Or a Seasonic Made Corsair? He is still at the store looking for a now opinion.
Corsair buys from 3 Manufacturers now, one of them Seasonic the other is a good company as well. Corsair usually offers a lower price and longer warranty than the OEM they buy from.


I would say grab the 600 watt modular just because its modular. My i5 and GTX 570 overclocked to hell and back with 7 drives in it pulls like 370 from the wall 600 should be enough for most single card and some dual card setups.

The CX600 is made by Channel Well, GS700 is as well. My Seasonic X750 is going for about 100 these days but you need something today so...
 
If that's $49.00 tag I'm reading right then if 700w meets your needs I'd get the Corsair-made by Seasonic lulz. If you're looking at that price range you won't find much better.
 
Microcenter doesn't have any in stock, I'm at the Towson store, which is brand new. So the only have corsair, thermaltake, Evga, and a slew of off-brands.

My budget is under $100, the 750 modular is 89$, the 600 modular is 65$

You didnt really show u were looking at the 750 in the corner of that pic. All of them are made by Channel Well actually. Good oem, nothing special though.

Erm, Your not paying attention. That was the list of available brands. Seasonic can not be bought right now in that store. He took the list of brands and ordered them from best to not corsair :p

Someone is at a store, they are leaving with a power supply. All else doesn't matter.

Yeah well if RC followed your lead he would go home tonight to a dead computer. Because between the option of buying a power supply and not you chose not :p

RC so far every Corsair they carry is made by Channel Well just pick one that looks pretty. Oh and one without a yellow circuit board :p

Nope. They did not have those at the store and they are over the $100 price range he was looking for. That list was made by what he said was available in the store. And you cant' complain about Corsair PSUs. They don't let you down and they're quiet. You've got Seasonicitis.

Never complained about the Corsairs. I have a corsair in my primary box right now, the HX1000. It's a solid PSU and my second favorite. The build quality on the seasonics is just better is all.
