Interesting thought snake...but only change recently is a belkin surge protector but it's been maybe 2 years since I have been using that on 3 different rigs

Lol yes psu already pulled and now using a corsair 750w. New case arrived so I'm moving every thing over tonight.

BTW, get a battery backup surge protectors still leave your hardware at high risk for being shorted out with brown outs.
I use this one since 2006 and never had any performance problems with it through hurricanes to brown outs, etc.

Never go cheap on the PSU, I always stress going with Seasonic/Corsair PSUs.
