QPAD MK-85 gaming keyboard brings NKRO, Cherry MX switches, devilish red backlights

N-key rollover (NKRO) is the gaming equivalent of musical polyphony, except it's less about creating beautiful harmonies and more about meleeing that camper in the corner while taking evasive maneuvers, reloading your AK, barking orders at your unit, checking the map, calling in a chopper and emailing the office -- all at precisely the same time. If that sounds beautiful to you, then you might consider picking up QPAD's new MK-85 mechanical gaming keyboard, which delivers full NKRO, USB and audio hub functionality and individual blood-red LED backlights over a single USB cable. It also has non-tactile, non-audible Cherry MX Red switches and, of course, plenty of programmable keys. The MK-85 will be available from December priced at €149 ($200). Alternatively, you can opt for a stripped-down MK-50 for €80 ($106), which plays the same core melody but without some of the trills.

keyboard looks nice but, I would NEVER pay more then $100 for a keyboard.

I did; you don't know what you're missing. I got so tired of mushy, gay ass, non responsive keys on the logitech, microsoft, and whatever boards. Then I heard about mechanical ones. They're quicker to depress since it takes less tension and actually depress when you push down on them and I can move vehicles around with them much more accurately in BF than I ever could before because they're more responsive.

I thought the same thing about the price the first time I heard about mechanical keyboards, but let me tell you the difference is astonishing. Plus, these aren't cheapo plastic boards-average weight is 3.5 lbs. That's right-you can use it for home defense or to just beat the shit out of your dog or woman if they piss you off. The best part is the keyboard still works after being used to teach the little woman when to listen. Better yet, you can replace the individual keys on the keyboard in about 5 seconds. These keyboards will pretty much last forever-check out Deck mechanical keyboards-their logo is "the last keyboard you will ever own" and that logo is true for a reason.

So, do I scoff at paying over $100 for a keyboard now. Fuck no! I love mine and don't regret getting it for a moment, especially comparing it to so many shitty keyboards made by logitech, razer, and microsoft.
