Question about Teamspeak 3 advanced permissions

I decided to re-install Windows onto an Intel 160 gb SSD. It's amazing how fast the system boots ... from entering password to desktop is about two seconds. I also have BF3/4 on another Intel 160 gb SSD.

SSD as the 'c' drive is awesome!


Anyway, now TS3 will not allow me to set an avatar. After checking the box for 'advanced permissions system' under settings/options/applications and applying, still the 'set avatar' option is disabled/grayed out.

Anyone how to fix this?

hell I didn't even know we could set an avatar in TS . I went through the tabs you listed and see no setting to do so in mine maybe when you reinstalled got an update that no longer allows it or my pc just hates me

I will check when I get home to my pc after lunch today (Yeah, Christmas break!). Is your channel permission correct (meaning Member badge instead of guest?). If not, I can take care of that shortly after noon.

I forget what menu its under but you can create a user group key or whatever its called. They can then enter that in TS3 and get their user group. Been awhile. We haven't used it since I setup the server.
