Question for players of BF4 using joysticks

I have the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
Everything works okay except for one issue.
When using freelook the joystick will no longer control direction. WTF?

Are you using this for movement or flying?

when you use freelook you can't pitch or roll even with kb and mouse when flying.

Yeah BF4's control menu can be batshit crazy sometimes.
