Ram help

my comp says 32 gigs of ram but only 16 usable O.O
i have the sabertooth z77 mother board with the armor it can handel 32 gigs at 1600 which is what i got.
i got the Corsair Vengeance Platinum ( CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMD32GX3M4A1600C10 - Newegg.com)

Do you have only windows 7 home edition? If so it only allows 16gigs. You would have to upgrade to Pro.

Anyways, as Maple stated, it depends on the OS your using... Grab a copy of Pro or Ultimate and it can run as much as you can fit. Seriously though, with that cost of RAM, why not just buy 16GB of 2400Mhz or something faster?
