retreiving data

Im trying to get some data off my old hard drives i saved. Best buy amd staples dont carry the parts i need and only want me to bring my pc in with the drives so they cam charge me $100 to transfer the data.

One of my harddrives has Ide and the other is Sata. Im not sure if this is the part i would need to get the data.

I never said it was a good deal. Just that it would work. The better solution would be to get the IDE and SATA adapter separately for a couple bucks a piece from a website like monoprice.com

I can't see where you could go wrong for $17.99. Sounds like a super deal to me. If I'd known those existed I could have save myself a ton of work the other day.
