If you play/have played, how long have you played for, biggest achievement?

I have been playing since late 2006 with some friends, always made pures since the beginning, never had a main, ever.
Since the new update that is coming out, I am forced to quit, I am currently selling my account on a website and I am asking $150 for it.

This account was account my biggest achievement, I have quit the game yesterday dropping over 750m+ worth of stuff to my clan mates and close friends in real life, I didn't believe how many people were actually sobbing on TS when I said I'm actually going to quit this game that has taken over my personal life.

The most hardest thing about quitting a multiplayer game is losing all of the friends you have made over months that you have been in a clan, a lot of my friends in TS were actually pretty sad to see me go since I have grew a very close bond to a lot of the people.

I would never say negative things about your past history whether it be gaming related or not. I have never played Runescape so I can't tell you if I would have liked it or not. I will give you some advice though. Just because you quit playing a game does not mean you need to loose those friends IRL or virtual. If you personally just need to get away for awhile then do that and come back to your friends later. I may be reading to much into your post above, but my friends are not just gaming friends IRL or virtual. If I were to stop playing tomorrow I would still be around my friends no matter what.

Other than that Manbra welcome to the website. Good luck on your trial and hopefully you make some new friends here.

I made friends on the game that I would never hear from again because right before I logged out for the last time, i deleted the TS info, deleted every contact from the game, and just waiting for someone to buy my account.

I have friends in real life (Not a #Foreveralone kind of guy, I have a lot of friends but just lost probably 90% of virtual friends that I usually talk to over the keyboard (Not really a social network kind of person)
 
I used to play runescape! Hahaha what a game! Truly addictive but I feel too old for it now and playing by yourself isn't much fun :(

I only managed to get to level 76 with level 99 hunt which took absolutely ages haha

Haha^ It took me 2 weeks on a level 3 with bots :P
I got 99 runecrafting on this account in 3 weeks with bots going 24/7 :P
 
I managed to do it legit for hunt. But literally Sonar you can't get level 99 everything without botting somehow. I didnt do it cause I was young and didnt understand it all haha. but many people did untul the bot nuke which was retty impressive from Jagex! I'm suprised they managed to take down the bots for such a long time.. They are still down aren't they?
 
wow, that's an oldie... I played that game 1 time and haaaaaaaaaaaaated it.


I've known guys that got so many Dr. Watsons from that shit their hardrives look like 100 year old dug up corpses lololol..



Glad that you are moving on from runscape, you should pick up everquest from SOE, it's a free to play now.. loads of fun :)

You can do it legit if you started in 2003... like me. Quit playing that game a long time ago though, the wilderness removal killed it for me and its only fun with membership nowadays.
 
the wildy is back now for about a year now. ive made over $7500+ from botting and selling accounts over the past 3 years. Thats the reason why I only liked the game tbh. To make money. The account i posted took me 11 months to make total. 99% botted. If someone made that account legit, it would probably take them 2+ years to make
 
I used to play runescape because some chick I was banging played it. I signed into it one day and it literally said "You last logged in 365 days ago". I was like damn what happened 365 days ago, oh yeah I moved and left her haha.

Runescape was a bit of a time waster. I used to play MuD games and the one I played people would sell level 50 characters for in game gold or whatever. Some farming bots here and there but most bots acted as stores. MuD clients allowed for scripting of things and well you write complex enough scripts you can automate selling items or casting spells on players.
