Samsung 840 SSS not living up to expectations

As you can see the SSD isn't getting the full 89000 Iops as advertised by Samsung and I don't know why. I have all the bios settings correct and windows 8 settings correct. My SB chip set is the fastest AMD has to offer and does support that higher speed and I only have one sata controller on the motherboard.

A. The manufature numbers are not absolutes, results may vary.
B. If you're running the 840 128gb version it's 86k iops, not 89, and the rated R/W speeds are

530 MB/s / 130 MB/s which you can see is spot on for speeds if not iops measurement.​

Just like USB 2.0 had speeds of what....400+ MBs? Never happend.
Don't worry about the test performance. Worry about real life performance. Are game loads super fast? Are data transfers good? Installs should be quick.
