Server problems

I don't know if this has been addressed before but I have been having trouble getting on to the BF2142 servers for a while. I'm pretty sure it's that I have wireless internet at home that is working at 54Mbps as I can get onto the servers when I bypass the wireless. Problem is that I am limited to using my laptop in the bedroom. Any suggestions on tweeks, new equipment and such to get around this. I was trying to get on for a quick game earlier but it kept telling me there was a problem with my connection.
Any advice is much appreciated.
BTW, my handle on BF2142 is 'AlphaWick'. If you see me on hit me up on ventrillo or on the text function.

hey gene, what kind of problems are you facing? Are you getting disconnected? Have you tried updating your punkbuster manually?

Download the file, pick the game you wish to update and voila. Shouldn't be getting kicked from punkbuster. If you still have problems let me know.
