Stealth Helos Used In Osama Raid

Comanche? I am sure China will pay Pakistan shitloads for pieces of this bird. Once again, they are NOT our friends.

Comanche was "scrapped" years ago, and still a sore subject in the DOD if memory serves, in terms of dollars spent. Funny thing about X planes, even if the mock-ups (YF-23/Comanche/X-31 for example) doesn't pan out, a metric fuckton of neat things come out of the test bed. Anywho, word around the campfire is it was a modified Blackhawk. Sorta looks like the the aft-end of one to me, but my only experience with them is hanging around the 160th at KAF, they were on the ramp across from us. Bad ass, no matter what though.

Zap - I used the term "metric fuckton" in a business meeting about a mining project the other day - the guys looked at me funny at first and then they were rolling

Kandahar??

It's too bad they scrapped the program, however they utilized a lot of the technology developed in the program to outfit the Apache Block III series and some of heat signature dissipation characteristics in the UH-60M models.

My copilot told me that in 1996 hood had an "incident" where a bunch of Bradley idiots shot up the tail sections of 2 Comanches when they were "practicing" gunnery (on what ever range tankers use) by over shooting their left limits right onto the airfield. It was his Armor battalion.

I took some photos of "The Duke" here at Rucker when I PCS'd. This one is the play boy model that the Army was showing off in their R&D lab back in the 90's unfortunately it's in Terminal but "temporary Storage"

some are a little goofy but w/e lol :P

Hey now. Bradleys are neither tanks, nor are the people crewing them "tankers".
