Yeah Snake I have owned alot of VW's. I had a '68 VW bus camper edition. 2 '71 Super Beetles , 1 I turned into a dune buggy with full roll cage around the rear engine , and front tubular bump guard with some KC lights .
'91 Vanagon syncro ,'02 VW Gti which I had some sick money into it, '08 Gti, and now this Golf R .
That's a picture of my 02 GTI before I put a roll cage in it for track days. Miss that car , some rental truck guy turned into me forcing me to curb the car doing 35 wrecked the frame !

Okay finally mounted these fucking things today! Waiting on a set of lowering springs from VWR, they will dial the height down 9/16 and rid the mushy oem feel when barreling into turns.

Nice! I like the wheels...
Never had an actual VW but I did own an audi A4. Anything from Germany is a good car.
