Nice. Planning on surfing around the universe looking for new systems?

@Avery78 do you happen to have the name(s) of the groups you are affiliated with? Would like to check them out as we grow closer with game development.
 
The transparency is nice. I imagine they've been working their asses off to get to this point. Unfortunately, most people don't understand what it takes to make a game these days.
 
Agreed @Soulzz but unfortunately due to mondern day development cycles and the preception of games coming out in two years or less, the public thinks it is easy as bolting together a wix website.

What I am amazed most is how receptive the devs are with the community with feedback and testing.

For those who may or may not know, I urge you to check out the series 'The Next Great Starship' on YouTube. You can see how some of the development work goes into making the models from design to weapons placement. And this is with people who teamed up and signed on to compete in the gunship design competition. It provided me with new insight into how much goes into just one class of ship, let alone the others and the universe itself.

I have a new level of respect for those guys.

Sounds a lot like what OWI (Offworld Industries) are doing. Far different budgets, but same hard work, and no publisher ties.
 
I would love it when we can get a ship that can hold all our smaller ships in it.=)

I know there was talk of being able to salvage a damaged carrier that was left by the UEF in one of the interviews with Roberts. (Granted this is all items that will eventually make it into the game) but for now I believe it's just a few snub fighters or shuttles that get to hitch a ride for now, like the P-52 Merlin.

A bit of that, on the side I'll be doing some cargo transport. Gotta wait and see how the system will work, or if I'm forced to do one or the other.
