Was cleaning out the truck before I do the body work and replace the water pump. Found one of my previous repairs. Was going to share with frank but hell I'll drop it here.

I only drove on it for 2 years after I knew it was going bad...

Got a late start and the engine was still hot 2 hours later but the coolant was cold enough to pull the rad. Grandfather had me go old school on the fan clutch.

Should be ready enough for when I wake up. Storms expected but hell what's a little water in the cooling system...

That's light rust. Park a brand new Ferrari on the coastline and the brake rotors will be solid brown before the sun rises. I parked my Toyota at my mothers house out there for a week. Came back the aluminum valve cover had turned white. How the hell cars that live out there survive I'll never understand.
