I figured it would happen but sucks none the less.

Those running the beta will have to uninstall it since it shares the same I'd as the official app. Then you can buy it.

Dunno about the iOS beta.

The windows and linux clients truly are easier to develop. The constant change in android operating systems and broad availability of hardware means alot more development. Those who like free will notice their previous Mumble is not available for android. The old app is from 2010 and they have not updated it because it needs a complete rewrite. Thats not to say it doesn't have unofficial means of support. So whiners are going to whine but the truth is its hard to do this much work for free.
 
I picked this up today. not sure if it will get much use but I like the option.
