It is Samsung only at the moment and its not exactly what you expect. It does work but in its current form requires the user to accept the connection so no auto login like desktop at this point.
If it comes full form and I can add it to my normal account it has some potential. Lost or stolen it has potential since you can access GPS, Camera, wipe data etc as an alternative to dedicated alternatives that i don't run. Can't really adjust quality/speed yet but even over wifi its a little slow, bad quality. I can screen capture video on the phone to H.264 at 40 fps so over Wifi it should be too much to ask for a real time 25 fps stream at 2 Mbps bit rate.

You can't game on it or anything but you can use your PC to type text messages pretty fast. I usually use AirDroid for something like that, it lets you control the phone in the browser. But other than text messaging and viewing pics and videos it doesn't allow for any of this. In its current state it might be useful for when my grandparents get a smart phone and can't figure out how to use it.
