Rain's farming machine got me motivated enough to rebuild my previous PC. Got this in a trade from a guy on the [H]ardOCP.com forums (traded a 20in LCD HDTV).

Specs:
AMD Athlon 5050e Dual Core CPU clocked at 2.6GHz (stock)
4GB Crucial Ballistx DDR2
OCZ 620W PSU (why on earth he put such a power supply into a SFF case, I'll never know)
XFX 88000GT GPU
Ultra Microfly Small Form Factor case (and a bitch to work in)

Had to do some modifying as the GPU's heatpipes extend beyond the edge (top in this orientation) of the card and wouldn't allow the power supply to sit on its moorings. A couple of ice cream sticks placed under the PSU gives it enough clearance. Cable management is a pain with all those hardwired connectors.

So you actually managed to get the 8800 in there? Nice optical drive mine doesnt even have one lol.

My 8800 is so reference:

Its also dead.

I'm gonna pull the DVD-RW after it installs the OS.. if it ever does. Been sitting at 0% now for over an hour, I suspect something is up.

Yea, amazingly I did. I can't find a picture of the actual card, but this is the fan covering the gpu itself: T2TZDAXiFXXXXXXXXX_!!51607457.jpg. The ends of those heatpipes stick up *just* enough to hinder the PSU.
