thinking of switching phone service

im on att go phone plan at the moment 60 bucks a month unlimited talk text and 4gigs of data. but am thinking of switching to local carrier which bounces off att towers cause i can get 5gig data still unlimited talk text at 50 bucks. but then ill have to get a new phone. and my bill will be around 80 a month cause of buying the phone. phones that are available LG G4, HTC one M9, Samsung galaxy s6 and motorola maxx. still not sure if im gonna make the switch or not but was curious as to what phone yall would go with if i do change. pros cons have you had one how was it all that fun shit

Only going to work for him if he has good T-Mobile coverage. Otherwise he is better off on an AT&T mvno like he planned.

You can get an unlocked LG G3 for 300. Other choices like the Nexus 5X for a little more. Etc.

I don't know what your local offerings are like then. The majority of MVNO's barely subsidize the devices. If you are out there looking at G4's I would figure you are putting at least 300 down lol. All the major carriers do monthly pay plans on phones rather than subsidize which is cool but the MVNO's tend not to.

I have StraightTalk for $45 per month. Unlimited talk, text, 5 gigs data at high speed. Slightly slower after that, but unlimited with no extra charge. If you have an AT&T phone, it uses their towers. If you use Verizon phone, it uses theirs. I will never go back to Verizon.

i have no idea what an mvno is my sister uses a lg 4g its nice i currently have a htc desire 610 and i like it alot my brother has the htc one m9 and its fast as fuck. i just need more data and good battery life as when im at work my machine self operates so i get bored
