This doesn't make sense to me! HD Space confusion.

How is it that it says I only have 57gb free on the C: drive, and all of the content on the drive only measures up to 76gb?

I understand the Master File Table, Log File, etc.. aren't measured in the smaller measurement, but how could that account for 75gb of space on it's own.

System restore, hibernation, temp files from previous versions of drivers, programs could be eating up your space.

Shadow copies of Windows 7 was horrible about eating space. I'd check for and delete those; normally they're turned on for system restore and you can limit the number of restore points/shadow copies it makes.

This was the issue. Thank you so much! It was driving me nuts. Now I can move everything to my SSD!
